While on driver duties the other day, I happened to chance upon this article in TEENAGE magazine. [Which I would ignore because for one reason or another, reading such magazines isn't just my thing!]
I can't really remember the full sentence but it goes something like this: "keeping your diary or blog private is a good way of expressing yourself as you might end up writing for your friends and instead of yourself when your blog/diary goes public."
Maybe it's about me being too nice a guy until people start to take advantage of me.
Or maybe it's just that, something, somewhere, somehow, shit happens and I'm the fall guy. Or maybe it's just fate, pure and simple.
Or MAYBE. just, maybe. Maybe pigs can fly, maybe there's the light at the end of the tunnel, or maybe I'm just hoping for a miracle I know will never happen.
The "temptations" are there; to be the bad guy, to be the guy who couldn't care less, the guy they call a bastard and a flirt or even the epitome of evil [which strikes me as a "mild" exaggeration but what the hell.] is slowly rising in me. At the very least, I wouldn't be the one being hurt all the time, no?
And after blogging everything out, I realized something.
I can't seem to decide whether being the nice guy or the bad guy is the better choice for me.
How ah?
I need answers .. and soon.
It's been a very long while since I ever posted anything, I know.
So, a joke for a few laughs first. While I would really like to update, time constraints [plus a few angry friends] aren't making things simple. So yep. Enjoy!

kept alive indefinitely by artificial means. Under no circumstances
should my fate be put in the hands of pinhead politicians who couldn't
pass ninth-grade biology if their lives depended on it, or
lawyers/doctors interested in simply running up the bills. If a
reasonable amount of time passes and I fail to ask for at least one of
the following:
Glass of wine
Chocolate
Margarita
Salty nuts
Martini
Cold Beer
Brownies
Mexican food
French fries
Pizza
Ice cream
Twinkies
It should be presumed that I won't ever get better. When such a
determination is reached, I hereby instruct my appointed person and
attending physicians to pull the plug, reel in the tubes, let the 'fat
lady sing,' and call it a day!

It's been a long time since I updated.
Life is still the same - the monotonous details, the office politics, the whatever lah.
As of late, I have started developing this "can't be bothered" approach that I can "proudly" declare is a by - product of some people here in my unit. After all, why help out so much when in the end, some other parties will just use this as an excuse to skive on their part?
Indeed, I seriously wonder how when some people are like, slaving away 24/7, this jokers can still find the gall to do a small little thing and then complain about being tired!
And to think that this are the very same people who said that we'll stick together till the end .. PUI!
Thinking about them makes my blood boil. If there was ever a need to explain the phrase "the world isn't fair" to anyone, this would be the perfect example.
But, looking on the bright side ..
Just one more [major] excercise to go. That, and the fact that I just submitted my claim for my class 3/4.
And soon .. my ORD.
Peace.

April 23th, 2009.
Not exactly the best day of my life BUT; something to look forward to.
This day signals the beginning of the end. [ of my little NS stint as a driver in Mandai Hill Camp. ]
And now; if only my hair can just grow that little bit faster [ so I can fulfill my dreams of a white/sliver combo highlight! ]
:)
Finally .. is this the rainbow after the rain?

This put a smile on my face. So, I hope it puts one on you too. :)

When Astronaut Neil Armstrong first walked on the moon, he not only gave his famous one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind statement but followed it by several remarks, usual between him, the other astronauts and Mission Control. Just before he re-entered the lander, however, he made the enigmatic remark, "Good luck Mr. Gorsky".
Many people at NASA thought it was a casual remark concerning some rival Soviet Cosmonaut. However, upon checking, there was no Gorsky in either the Russian or American space programs.
Over the years many people questioned Armstrong as to what the Good luck Mr. Gorsky statement meant, but Armstrong always just smiled.
Four years ago, while answering questions following a speech, a reporter brought up the 26 year old question to Armstrong. This time he finally responded. Mr. Gorsky had finally died and so Neil Armstrong felt he could answer the question.
When he was a kid, he was playing baseball with a friend in the backyard. His friend hit a fly ball which landed in the front of his neighbors' bedroom windows. His neighbors were Mr. & Mrs. Gorsky. As he leaned down to pick up the ball, young Armstrong heard Mrs. Gorsky shouting at Mr. Gorsky.
"Oral sex? You want oral sex? You'll get oral sex when the kid next door walks on the moon!"

WASHINGTON POST COMPETITION ASKED FOR A TWO-LINE RHYME WITH THE MOST ROMANTIC FIRST LINE, BUT THE LEAST ROMANTIC SECOND LINE
The winners below:
My darling, my lover, my beautiful wife:
Marrying you screwed up my life.
I see your face when I am dreaming.
That's why I always wake up screaming.
Kind, intelligent, loving and hot;
This describes everything you are not.
Love may be beautiful, love may be bliss,
But I only slept with you because I was pissed.
I thought that I could love no other --
that is until I met your brother.
Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet, and so are you.
But the roses are wilting, the violets are dead, the sugar bowl's empty
and so is your head.
I want to feel your sweet embrace;
But don't take that paper bag off your face.
I love your smile, your face, and your eyes --
Damn, I'm good at telling lies!
My love, you take my breath away.
What have you stepped in to smell this way?
My feelings for you no words can tell,
Except for maybe 'Go to hell.'
What inspired this amorous rhyme?
Two parts tequila, one part lime.
