Was looking at this guy play and .. he's my newest idol. LOL.

While out with Rain, Chuan and Wan Ling at Vivocity today, I bore witness to a certain "event" that got my brain juice(s) flowing.

I was at the arcade with Chuan when this kid cut into the queue. [Of course, I'm not that small gas - the kid was probably a little more then 4, 5 years old so maybe, I should just put this down to him not knowing about the bigger things in life.] Rather, It was when he swiped in a credit for the game that got me thinking - the kid has like, $110.65 worth of play value in his card. O.o

And I still remember the days where I was like, 2-3 times his age and I had to BEG my mother to BRING ME UP TO THE ARCADE. Of course, as I got older, she let me run around but then again, such activity was kinda frowned upon by my mother and relatives and they did their best to discourage me from doing so. [To no avail, of course. I never really did quite like to stick around with them .. it was the epitome of boredom! XD] And even IF I DID GO UP TO THE ARCADE, I would have like only, $2-$5 to play around with?

So, I wonder: Is it just me lagging behind the times or do we all need to do some soul searching?

Yeah, I think I'm starting to sound like a hypocrite - after all, the memories of me playing arcade games such as Initial D and Wangan Midnight are still firmly etched into my brain. Indeed, The amount of money I spent on this two games itself definitely runs into the thousands. And yes, I do feel ashamed of this fact but I seek a small consolation prize from the fact that this sum of money has brought me some great memories [and as well as teach me a few .. painful lessons of life.]

And to be on the random side of life - I need to improve my singing. Hearing yourself go out of tone and pitch for like, 1924710957112957810925718947 times while at K-Box with a couple and a girl [or is it a boy? OPPS =X] is definitely not my idea of fun.
