Maroon 5 - Won't Go Home Without You.

--

Is it just me, or has internet browsers the world over decided to go on strike?

Google Chrome is lagging, Mozilla Firefox wouldn't display facebook in it's proper form, Internet explorer .. AH. Whoever uses IE nowadays? =X

But yep, back to the main point. Yes, finally, I have gotten off my rotten ass to actually BLOG. A big cue for Singapore pools, huh?

So many things have past in the few months - Release from my term of conscription as a Driver in the SAF [and the subsequent conversion of my military license to a civilian one! :)], my new-found love of DOTA and WOW, signing of a temporary work contract with National Dental Center as a records clerk, the twin temptations that many will know as Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 3DX and Initial D Arcade Stage 5 .. There's really too many to name [and too little time to do so.]

Looking at my keyboard, I can only just silently wonder why I'm still doing arcade gaming. I thought I was past that phrase in life - or maybe I should just attribute it to that "winners don't quit, quitters don't win" mentality of mine. But still, I cannot deny the fact that it's quite a troublesome drain on my finances [and at the rate I'm going, I'm going to take FOREVER to save up for my digital piano! -.- ] So, for now, I guess the most I can do is to curb such "undesirable" expenditure till the day where my piano arrives, following which, I will do my utmost to erase completely my love of arcade gaming .. 'RIGHT. =X

And speaking of which, I decided to register for this little competition for Wangan Midnight. The trials start on the 29th of August with the full thingamajig commencing the day after [OF COURSE, that is, assuming I get past the trials first. ^^"] Of course, one might point out to this being just a big ****ing waste of my time and money but I guess it's more then just that.

It's probably just me but I seriously love the spirit of competition, of learning from my own mistakes, of triumph over the strong while helping those weaker then me improve and of course, my love for THAT Mazda RX7 FC3S [which, if anyone doesn't know how it looks like, you guys can just scroll up and look at the manga-like picture at the top of my blog. :)]

But, enough with all of this .. idiocy. For now, as mentioned earlier, I'm now working as a temporary records clerk at National Dental Center. Basically, my job is just to:

1) Trace records of any given patient needed by our oh-so-great doctors upstairs.
2) Rearrange about, 12940710957108571824712080192571085710238 records in a way that my lord and masters deem convenient for their needs.
3) Assist my lord and masters in whatever errands they deem fit for us to execute.

If anyone wonders why, yes, the sarcasm is all for the sake of humor.

Work isn't really tiring but it sure is damned monotonous. In fact, I don't even feel like a clerk at all - rather, they should change this job name to "Records Storeman" or something. Calling it a clerk has got to be the biggest joke, ever - the clerks I know of don't have to climb up and down shelves for like, their entire work day. Rather, it's more of like a sit-in-front-of-the-computer-and-surf-facebook-all-day thing BUT THEN AGAIN, given the slackness of my work, I guess this is all quite .. irrelevant. =X But yeah, when this contract expires, I will most probably be job hunting .. again. -.- This time round, I'll remember to aim for something that gives me a little bit more vitamin M. XD

And yes, it's 3.34AM in the morning and if I don't go to sleep now, I can forsee myself becoming a walking zombie at work. So yep, good night [or rather, morning. XD] to all. :)
