I have a sudden interest. [ Don't ask me why. ]

In an earlier blog post, I wondered why my whole platoon was just so bloody free for the past week or so. Indeed, It was just the calm before the storm.

This week, the fun [ or should I term it "hell" ? ] starts.

Other then that - truthfully speaking, I finally saw the true colors of some friends.

Disappointed.

Looking at Hian Leng's blog made me realised one thing.

I haven't been exercising.


Wonderful lah. And to think one of my new year resolutions was to get gold for my IPPT ..

Maybe, I should try recreating a certain legend of Mandai Hill camp. This time, I'll try to AWOL with a GPMG or something. [ More kick mah, lols. ]

IF anyone asks why, it's this simple. I have already so screwed up my valentine's day date to the point that I will have to screw it down to continue screwing up. So screwing around with a GPMG at orchard road is quite appealing to me, yeah?

Maybe my Platoon commander was trying to suggest something when he jokingly told me that my leave for valentine's day was canceled [ and maybe not ] but well, here's a very "fake" sounding apology and yeah, love is selfish, lols.


And despite being graced by the good intentions of the abovementioned, yep, I failed.


Back to square one. This year's valentine will be spent .. looking at girls again. =P

I'm really starting to miss my days of leading a simple and carefree life at ITE Clementi. My heart, she grows weary at the thought of having to book in back to Mandai Hill camp in about the next hour or so.

Hmm .. I don't really have anything much to blog about. There are certain feelings that I would really like to blog it out but I guess doing so wouldn't change anything. So why bother eh?

I have done something very, very, very stupid.

Not only that, I allow my ego and pride to make it that very much worst then it already is.

Wonderful. My fatalistic attitude at hand is guessing that the 2 days of leave I took for valentine's day will be spent .. alone.

As always, the Japanese are just so darned creative ..

It must be the festive season or something. Really, I cannot seem to understand what unknown variables must be at work today when I went out with my mom for my new year shopping. No jokes - this is like, the first time when I and her agree on what kind of clothes I should be wearing O.o

I think, I should just put this "thing" as one of the many mysteries of mankind .. =P

God is watching over me.

Luckily, The stand - by vehicle has been postponed to next Tuesday. I didn't really fancy my chances of success - especially after an exercise where we had like, 14 tonners and 5 land rovers to wash? [ one can't really imagine the amount of mud and dirt in all those vehicles AND we do have a Master sergeant who is notorious for his high standards in cleanliness when it comes to "his" land rovers .. -.- ]

Anyway, Chinese new year is approaching. And so is Valentine's day.

I can feel it now .. this month is going to be .. [ insert any vulgarity here. ]
