oh well. things have really changed. school has started. the workload is still manageable, so thank god and heavens I'm not about to grow any more gray hairs or wrinkles. haha .. just one more exam and my final year project to be done and i graduate. NS is coming up next, i think. for our batch, i don't think be able to defer. but well, i'm praying. not just to be able to defer, but also for my grades. GPA needed is 3, and i'm at 2.7. zzz. slacking too much le. crap. but well, one should always be optimistic and since past is past, there is really nothing much i could do about it except crossing fingers and working hard and smart.
so, in other news, TRF has disbanded. yes, i know, this is about one month old. but .. i feel that i should dedicate at least a line or two of my blog entry to this. donno what to say about it also. how it happened, the events that lead to it .. i look at it, and well, i feel like LOL - ing at everyone. donno la, the way everyone handled it looks kinda .. immature. ya. immature would be a good word. don't really know know how to say it .. it's like, tit for tat. you do this, i do that lor. that kind of stuff. then it all snowballs downhill until this current state of affairs. ya. zzz ..
anyway, recently [ or more like 2 months back, LOL ], i got a laptop. it's from Asus and i must say .. quite a big hole burned in the wallet though, THE PRICE TAG IS 3k -.- plenty of thanks for my parents who coughed up the money first. and now, i wonder how the **** i'm supposed to return them the money .. -.- anyway, here's how it looks like ..
The name for it is the F3J . don't ask me why it's got such a weird name, but anyway, got it because:
1) i was swa koo. i never used a laptop before. xD
2) it's a " gaming oriented " laptop. [ whatever that means .. ]
3) i need a replacement for that junk of computer parts i call my desktop.
okay la, i'm lying to myself. a laptop, technically speaking, can never afford the bang for buck performance of a desktop la. but still, a laptop is literally speaking, something to put on your lap, to carry around. so ya, if anyone's asking if it's worth it, yes, it is. [ or perhaps i'm saying this because i want to comfort myself about the 3k that has flown away ? XDDDD ]
anyway, so far so good bah. the laptop hasn't broken down yet. =X and no, i'm not asking for someone to break my laptop also , hahahaha .. but well, i was expecting something to happen. like a key popping out, or the in built - speakers giving me slience when i'm playing at the loudest volume possible .. or whatever. but no, nothing so far. hopefully, it stays that way.
okay .. damned sian .. i'm off to bed xD
