Interesting hor? Hehehe .. in any case, like i said, quite a busy two weeks. Let's see, went back to Malaysia for CNY. Cannot blame la, parents are malaysians, so what else can do? LL follow back lor. In any case, on our way there, we had to pay some "Extra fees". And for those who know nuts about what i'm typing, yes, i'm referring to corruption. [ which, in any case, strikes me as being so alien a culture since i'm so used to the "GOD" [ Read: don't mess with me, asshole. ] feel that is kinda prevalent in the Singapore Police Force. ] Oh well. Anyway, we were pulled over and told that we were over the speed limit [ running at about 124km/h, speed limit is 110, i think. ] okay la. talk talk abit here and there, ended up paying RM30 to "excuse" ourselves. and yeah, it's an evil, but then again, it's a necessary evil =P
Anyway, the Bai Nian was kinda pathetic, partly because I was busy with my report and plus the fact that we kinda lost touch with most of my Malaysian counterparts also. Sad huh? Lol.. ended up with a kinda pathetic HongBao collection. I won't say how much, but it's definitely less then SGD50. But hey, the thought counts more then the money collected bah. Or then again, maybe i'm saying this to console myself? Hahahaha .. anyway, other then that, here's something you don't really get to see in Singapore. I posted it in my friendster for quite a long time already, but well, just putting here for the memories as well .. here goes:

In Malaysia, it's called Roti Tisu. It's basically dough that is stretched REAL THIN, fried, and then shaped to make this "mountain". And while some shops add sugar, this particular one uses condensed milk, so yeah, think someone better dial 1900 - 912 - 6868 le .. hahahaha
Anyway, back to the Singapore side of my life. Okay la, the few days back, I also been visiting most of my friend's house to Bai Nian [ or rather, trying to improve my pathetic HongBao money, LOL ]. to that end, i was rather successful. Of course, with the help of a little bit of Dai Dee/Blackjack, I managed to win about 20 bucks bah. but then again, a taxi ride home erased all the winnings. zzz. all thanks to some joker [ you know who you are .. ] who kept delaying all of us, lol. and yea, I consider myself lucky to have money for the cab home. If not .. I don't really want to think about it also xD
And well, lastly, celebrated Johnny's birthday about 2 days back. Nothing big, just a little birthday celebration organized by his family with Meng, Joei and I playing his PS2 and free - loading the food into our stomaches xDDD
oh well, after all of this, i suddenly feel like there's a dark cloud over me. For one, there's my final year paper. Then there's also my medical checkup for NS. Then the impending fear of me not being to make it to poly .. and the list goes on. zzz. Oh well. Guess i'll have to take things one at a time, huh?
Okay. Out.
